LIMITED EDITION - We limit production of the "Barky" to 72 pieces in honor of the number of holes played in a traditional tournament on tour.

The term Barky or Barkie, was coined in reference to making par in golf after you’ve hit a tree. On the base we have placed a David Norman bag next to a tree as you would when getting ready to hit your second shot. Each Barky will be its own since no slab will ever be the same making this unique desk your own one-of-a-kind piece. Our first Barky will use this rare, double heart of Parota that is seen in the pictures. This slab measures 86” in length x 44” wide x 3 1/4” thick, but your Barky can be crafted to fit your needs. The base can also be customized to replay your latest or greatest Barky.

Using our emotions-first design process, we aim for the executive who tackles all objections and obstacles in his or her business life, just as a true golf fanatic tackles the Barky. In the game of golf, you may be in trouble off the Tee and hit a tree, but you scramble to make par all the same. It is in your blood. The essence of a Barky executive desk is the embodiment of that same attitude. The desk is a representation of your will to overcome the adversity that comes your way and to win at every turn.

For our first Barky, we used a rare, double-hearted Partota slab, as seen in the pictures. No Barky will ever be the same, and we can customize yours with the slab of your choice. On the bottom, we stayed true to the real spirit of a Barky by placing the bag next to the tree, as you would on the course. For the stumps, we used white cedar. The Signature David Norman golf bags are made of curly maple with the natural striping in the grain really standing out. The Barky features genuine African Water Buffalo hide for its tough and long-lasting properties, along with its supple look and feel.

You may, upon request, change any woods, stains or other custom design options upon ordering. Just ask us about these options and cost. After all, if you do not find it perfect, it is not a David Norman.
